Growing up with a grandfather in the television industry
Rowe Jones has been around “the business” all of his life.
In 1988 Rowe founded RadioVision Inc. a production company geared toward
the commercial market. Rowe’s talents as a writer, producer, voice-over
artist and on camera talent have led him to work for clients like VH-1,
NASCAR, Sears and many others.
However, behind the scenes Rowe was waging a painful battle with a complex
neurological condition. He went to a countless number of doctors but
no one could tell him why he was hurting. In 2003 his condition worsened.
His pain dramatically increased and his appetite decreased as Rowe lost
60 pounds. Left undiagnosed and untreated this mysterious illness could
have led to his demise. Finally, Rowe came up with his own hypothesis
and mentioned it to a doctor friend and together they formulated a potential
diagnosis. After 25 years of searching Rowe thought he had the answer
to why he was hurting. Two months later he had brain surgery in an attempt
to feel more comfortable. His self-diagnosis was correct but the results
of the surgery were not as hoped. But Rowe has not let this result deter
his goal to lead a happy and fulfilling life.
It was during this surgery Rowe had a revelation of supernatural proportions.
He thought that by telling his story and offering his strategies and
insight to living with pain, he could help others who suffer. He could
also relate this insight to doctors, nurses and others in the healthcare
field. His spiritual journey is a powerful message for believers.
Thus began the Happy with Pain movement. Rowe mentions, “It’s
my life’s goal now to help people in pain. My purpose is to share
my story and coping skills with as many people I can reach. I know I
can make a difference.” Rowe’s strategies and techniques
for dealing with adversity have interested the corporate market as well.
He has delivered this message in the United States and Great Britain
changing the lives of thousands. Rowe is writing a book and creating
other useful products to help people with pain.
